2010 Lancer GTS exhaust issue
2010 Lancer GTS exhaust issue
So today i just put in the Injen CAI on my 2010 lancer GTS. i also purchased the Greddy SE axle back exhaust. Upon removing the exhaust and putting up the new one to see if it fit, it was noted that the brackets do not line up. upon further investigation, the website's i used, amongst the hundreds of you tube videos and stuff, i found that the greedy SE isnt even built for the 2010. only the 08-09. Any suggestions. the modification shop im using said they will contact an exhaust specialist and he will asess and possibly fabricate, or do something to make it fit safely and strong. wanted to get input from you guys. any advice?? i wanted the Greddy SE because its not Ricer, its got a nice sound with some small performance gain (though negligable im aware), plus the burnt tip looks good.
where did you buy you exhaust?(no ebay i hope
) it should fit fine the hangers for the exhaust are all located in the same spots on the 08's-11's so your 2010 should be just fine. perhaps you should post some pics so ppl can better help you.
Through speedstar my modification garage. The greedy part number matches that on its personal website however greedy website i noticed said 08-09 only. The part number on websites such as autocityimports etc, state that the same part number fits the '10 but it doesnt which greddy confirmed. So i have to fabricate brackets to fit the exhaust. Its brackets are different from the 09 to the 10... Oh well.
