issues whit carbon trunk

I had install a carbon fiber trunk on my 2006 lancer OZ. (carbon creation) But, now my trunk pop to hard, do you know if they are any solution ?

if anything it should easier to pop since its so light. maybe OZ version has strong torsion rods? trying taking those out and install a gas spring system. that or a the lock itself is messed up. good luck

Not sure if there is an adjustment on that trunk cable but you might check for that and adjust it if needed
