Headlight issue
so i recently purchased an 08 gts and my headlight bulbs have been flickering on and off, i took my bulbs out to see if the bulbs were shorting out but the entire spot where you connect the bulb to the connect is like melted??? has anyone witnessed this problem??
Aftermarket or stock headlight housings?
HID or halogen? If HID, is it factory or aftermarket? I'm not familiar w/ what options came on which trims on the Lancers.
Melting electrical components means heat, which usually means a short or a bad ground but if that were the case, the bulb should have blown out before anything melted.

Are the halogen? If they are get a new set and put some thermal grease in the socket before you put them on. I've read/heard somewhere that it helps with the heat. I have no proof or evidence of this but I'm doing this and haven't had a problem so far.
