front bumper damaged...need a little help

so my front end got damaged when my car was being shipped...job relocation...NY --> UT...i didnt want to ship it, but then again i didnt wanna drive through the mountains at the end of december...so i have a couple of questions...first i'll try to describe the damage...

My front bumper is dented, scratcched, and pushed in about about 3/4" and up about 1/2"...so the bumper is bowed out at the sides by the edge of the headlights...it appears that the front bumper support (?) (where the plastic attaches to the frame, there is a plate with your VIN there, pop your hood, you'll see it) is bent up and in...the headlights are also pushed out of alignment because the bumper plastic is pushing on them...i think they loaded my car or another car loosely on the shipping truck and either my car or the other shifted and came to rest on my car for long period of time... i dont think it was a single impact, although it could have been...anyways

to the questions:

1. If that metal part is actually bent, can it be bent back?

2. How much clearance does your hood latch have? cause mine has less than 1/2" and i thought there was way more than that (plus i think it'll help me prove that that metal is bent upwards)

3. I need somebody to check under thier bumper in the area where the black plastic mesh is. To the left and right of your license plate, upper portion, i see two cut outs on each side of the plastic and now i can see the styrofoam part of insdie the bumper. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be some kind of cover or clip there or not.

4. The claims are being handled through the car carriers insurance. Do you think I should notify my own insurance too?

5. Anybody know any good body shops in the Ogden, UT area?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
