Faulty Fuel Gauge? or Faulty Fuel Sensor?

I recently got a 2004 OZ Rally, what I didn't notice at first was the fuel gauge stops at half-full. The gauge cluster seems to be working fine, so I'd assume its the fuel sensor, has anyone else ran into this problem?

Mine is a lil dif

I drive about 13 miles to work and I'll start out with a half tank and end up at a quarter tank or lower. Then why my car sits at work it goes up a little bit when I turn my car back on I don't know what the hell's going on. Finally today my gas light came on and it freaked me out lol.
