Massive increase in gas consumption!

Over the past few weeks i've noticed that Lance is using up a lot of gas. I'm talking about from filling up one every week and a half to twice a a week. My driving routines have not really changed.

I've don't the air filter with every oil change, and i recently did the 100k plug change.

Any suggestions as to what else i can check out? I'm not really in a spot where i can take it to a shop right now.

Any advice would be great!

Oil change, new tires, air check, new air filter, fuel injection cleaning. Regular maintenance is important...if its none of these then I'd visit dealer.

What other symptoms?
excessive Tire wear? Pulling?

Pulls to one side when braking?
Brakes are hot?

Does not idle well?

Fuel smell on the dipstick?

Need more data to troubleshoot....
Measure actual miles per gallon -not interval between fill ups (not reliable at all)

I have noticed that as well with my 08 GTS. I've cleaned the air filter, new tires, sea foam fuel treatment, I dont know what else. I've called the dealer and they said they recommend the fuel filter to be replaced every 100k miles which I am at 97k now. I replaced the spark plugs at about 55k
