Cold weather startup and CEL

Hi all,
Unmodded 2011 Lancer ES here. I have a CEL on, p0300 which I know is common. Here is how mine happens. I live in CNY so it gets pretty cold outside. I park in a garage each night that stays between 30-50 degrees.

In the morning I fire the car up in the garage. Open the Garage door. Back out. About the time my car is hald way down the driveway the RPMs spike by like 500-1000. 2 seconds later my CEL goes on. Few days later it disappers.

I am guessing the temperature change from the garage to the outside is ticking off the fuel system. Do I just ignore this or continue to bug the dealer?

Car runs fine regardless of the CEL.

Thanks in advance!

the p0300 is a misfire, so your car is not adjusting the fuel quick enough to the colder temperatures is my guess. Is your garage heated? What is the temp difference? Here are some reasons that could be causing this.

•Ignition system related part(s) failed.
•Poor crankshaft position sensor.
•Incorrect air/fuel ratio.
•Low compression pressure.
•Skipping of timing belt teeth.
•EGR system and EGR valve failed. <California>
•ECM failed.
