Question about CEL eliminator!

I want to know if the CEL eliminator will work with the header o2 sensor because I thats where I screwed the CEL eliminator and the CEL light is still on. I know its suppose to go to the second o2 sensor where the cat is at. Has anyone used a CEL eliminator and the CEL went off right after they screwed it on to the first or second o2 sensor? I want to know if the CEL eliminator is suppose to go on the second o2 sensor. Let me know. -Thanks

The reason my CEL light went on was because I installed an rrm header 2 weeks ago and I didn't have the CEL eliminator, so now I bought one and I installed it last night, but I installed it on the header o2 sensor, in the directions, it said it was suppose to go on the cat's o2 sensor, I figured that it would work if installed it on the header 02 sensor, but the CEL light is still on. I want to know if it takes awhile for the CEL light to go away or I'm suppose to install on the car. Has anyone did what I just did?

Reset the ECU. Disconnect the battery for about 10minutes.

So the CEL eliminator alone does not work until I reset the ecu and disconnect the battery?

The cel eliminator works but you need to reset the problem code(CEL light). It might dissapear by itself but it will take some time. After installing the CEL eliminator, disconnect the battery. Wait 30 minutes. Reinstall the battery. And you shouldn't have a cell light. And where did you connect the cel eliminator. Is it the one from RRM?

Yes the CEL eliminator is from rrm, and I connected it to the first o2 sensor (the one that connects to the header), does it work with the header o2 sensor which is the first o2 sensor, or do I have to connect it to the second o2 sensor, (the one that connects to the catalytic)???? So it should work if I disconnect the battery?? So the CEL light should go off after I disconnect the battery. So I dont have to reset the ecu?
