interior lighting issue with radio and ac

The lights that are supposed to come on when the headlights are turned on don't work. The controls for the radio as well as the ac/heater control knob lights don't work either. I am very confused, they worked on day and tonight, nothing.

Perhaps a blown fuse?

Can't seem to find any bad fuses under the hood or in the car, unless someone knows which one controls both?

From what you describe, it looks to be that the fusible link has blown (#34) which is right at the battery positive connection.

A fusible link is a wire designed to break upon too much load, it may look like a regular wire wrapped in some black heat shrink.

I would test continuity from battery + to pin 10 on connector c-311 at the fuse panel inside the cabin. It is a 20 pin rectangular connector.
