Fuel pressure regulator

I have 2003 Lancer Oz ralley racing edition.. The 4G94 engine. Car cranks a long time to start. 45-50sec at 6-8sec crank intervals. At 103,000miles = New plugs, IAC, Cam injector sensor, cleaned MAFS, new fuel pump & filter, o2 sensor, ECM, cleaned EGR valve. Still no error codes and car is all stock and runs great when it gets going... Could it be the fuel pressure regulator not letting system get all way up to pressure and prematurely dumping back to tank.. Weak diaphragm?...Oh ya it also wants full throttle to start.

The system has a check valve to hold fuel pressure when the system is off.

To assess the check valve:
After the car has sat eight hours after driving - do you get a good solid shot of fuel out of the Schrader valve on the fuel rail? If it is just a dribble - bad check valve.

or
If you turn the key 'on' and wait 20 seconds - does it fire right up? If so - bad check valve.

(Someone else will have to tell you where the check valve is - ( have 2010 - sorry!)
