I just recently did some maintenance on my Lancer, as I had a bad upstream O2 sensor. Because I had to replace that, I went ahead and took care of some other things that were coming up due: changed the auto tranny fluid, changed my spark plugs, and cleaned the MAF sensor. All seemed smooth until I heard an awful knocking noise when I am in gear. Initially I thought the ATF was low or the wrong viscosity. Double checked those and put in an additive to improve lubrication, and the noise is still there. Checked my motor mounts, and sure enough, one is broke - the rear (not a true mount from what I can find). Anyone have any experience with a knocking noise after an ATF change? Also, has anyone ever purchased parts from 1 A Auto? I'm considering them for my mounts, as they have a kit in my budget range, but I don't want to purchase crap parts.

 

I have never ordered from them. But if you're looking for just regular motor mounts for a stock setup. I'd visit rockauto.com I have ordered numerous things from them. Always decent parts at low cost and fast shipping

 

rockauto would be better if they had reasonable shipping rates to Canada....but i HAVE ordered from them, and saved money over local purchase, sadly enough...they are great.
