2009 GTS - Hard Suspension Noise and Inside Tire Wear
So I hear a lot of things that could be the root of this problem. Recently I had a lot of front end damage and I had the right control arm replaced, both ball joints replaced, and the alignment done. About a week afterwards my control arm came apart and the frame of the car was sitting on the wheel for a few hours until I got a tow truck to pick the car up.
Since then, whenever i hit bumps in the road the sound and roughness of the bump is pretty extreme. The handling does not seem to be effected. However, yesterday I noticed that the inside tread on both front wheels are almost burned completely out.
I wanted to check with the forums to see if this can be fixed with redoing the alignment or if i will need to go ahead and change the suspension. I already need two new tires so i am trying to keep my cost down. Also, if i need new suspension parts, can i get away with doing just the front two wheels or do I have to do all four at one time?

A proper alignment shop will check all your suspension components before an alignment is performed. If you need anything they should let you know. How long after the alignment did your control arm come apart?
I would be talking to the shop who did your alignment as to why your tires are wearing. Most likely is too much positive toe. A reputable alignment shop will warranty their alignment for 1 year or 15000 kms.
