9 volt doesnt work

up front by the ash tray suddenly stopped working. any idea how to test to see
whats wrong with it or to fix it?

9volt in console works fine

I assume you already checked the fuses...

Remove it and check the connector and ground.

If all good - I would replace the receptacle.
