Greddy turbo timer doesnt work?????

I installed my greddy turbo timer today. Only problem is when i shut the key off to ACC it keeps the car running. But when i go back to lock to take the key out the car shuts off.
It is grounded, good. greddy says its not neccesary for the ebrake thing to be pluged in
My windows dont work on acc either, they nenver did, even before the install.
I do have the plug and play harness connected to what i believe is right.
HELP ME!!!!

Any ideas?

I have the same TT with the adapter and I have no problems when I installed it. My best guess if you plugged it up correctly, than your ground wire is not ground well. The same thing happend to my buddies evo when I installed his blitz TT with adaptor...Try messin with the ground, if that doesn't work then i don't know.

If it turns on it can't be the ground.

Im pretty positive that if electronics aren't grounded they wont work at all.

should of gotten hks, proven to work.

and yes, if you don't ground it, it wont turn on.

your e-brake harness isn't hook up. that's your problem. Now go fix it.

it's the blue e brake wire.

Just curious... You don't have the harness?

Duh! Didn't even think of that! Good catch!

Yeah! Go check to make sure your e-brake harness wire is hooked up.

okay let me clearify this...don't want this to become an arguement. If the ground wire is "improperly" installed (meaning not a good metal to metal contact) then it will not work properly. I do have the harness and had no problem with it. My buddie was the one with the grounding problem...same symptoms as you, it will turn on but when it took the key out then the car will turn off and it will say "OFF" on the TT. After alot of testing it my friend and I did, we found out it was the ground...we found a better ground for the wire. Hope this works...if not just go back to where you bought it. Might be a bad one

are you serious, thats why?

i went on the same ground it says to on the install on this site. the bolt behind the radio. i tightened her down real good. The reason it turns off is the e-brake harness, no lie?

I had the HKS... With the HKS you hooked up the blue wire to the e-brake lead. This way when when the e-brake is released during count down (ie someone trying to steal your car while its running) it would turn off the timer, shuting the car down.
