Front ECU issue?
Dear Forum,
I am seeking some assistance with my 2003 Mitsubishi lancer OZ Rally.
2 weeks ago I had some extremely cold weather (-20) and ever sense my front ecu has been making a loud buzzing noise. I found that the lights front/tail would come on and off/ flickering every now and then. this eventually killed my battery which I charged and tested and it is still fine, as it is less than 6 months old. It makes sense that the front ECU is causing the problem but I don't know for sure as I am not very automotive savy. After jumping my car and letting it run it lasted a night without being completely dead so it makes me think my alternator is fine but I don't know what to do at this point. Do I need to buy this part? (Front ECU part # MR515500) green box.
If anyone has any insight on this problem or a solution for me it would be greatly appreciated!!!
