Ping ping!

I have a 2006 Lancer ES. It pings after ignition but then it stops. Didn't have this problem until after changing the belt. I have been using the 88 grade ethanol free fuel. It this the problem?

Im pretty sure it is you should be using minimum 93 oct! unless you're in Cali and stuck with 91

Double check timing.
Run better fuel
Run a sea foam to clean carbon build up
