setting timing after belt snapped
setting timing after belt snapped
Hi, I'm new to Evo M and have a bunch of questions as I am not a certified mechanic. I snapped my timing belt (I have searched multiple threads here but haven't found the answer I need) I do know that I most likely did damage but I really just want to know how I can get my valves in a position to be out of the way while I put #1 piston to TDC. I was able to get my cam pulley mark lined up and my crank pully mark lined up with the corresponding marks. I put the timing belt on and stopped because I don't actually know where the valves and pistons are right now in relation to how the timing should be? Does this make any sense????? Any and all help would greatly be appreciated.
