Hi i have a 2005 lancer oz rally i recently got from my uncle, the car sat since last November , and according to him the car stopped running when he was trying to hook up some speakers to it, the accessories and ac turn on but when i try and crank it there is no feedback from the engine, no starter noise or anything, i replaced the starter and got a new battery, my uncle claims he fried the ecu when trying to hook up the speakers but i wanna here some opinions from you guys on what you think. i did replace the front ecu in the fuse box but not the one in the glove box. thank you guys for any replies and help!

 

Bad wiring I'm guessing, maybe a bad ground connection?

 

is it a manual trans or auto?
