Oil Separator for Engine
My Lancer burns about a quart of every 4K I put on it. A friend of mine that has been a Mechanic for 10 years says they have Oil Separator for motors, that can help with cutting down on the oil the motor burns. I'd like to try this, since over time it will clog up the Cat on the exhaust. . We both did a web search and could not find anything specifically for the Lancer. Has anyone else ever tried something like this?
On the Youtube Scotty Kilmer channel, he says Mitsu's use cheap piston rings, and that's why they burn oil. Not sure if I can afford a ring and piston job at the moment though.

i have used several small cheap ones. i set up mine to drain oil back to the oil pan. I like these
