mine is about as twice as wide as yours and its a bit flatter, so it was rubing up against the cup a bit, i wonder if i can move that cup to a diff location.... any ideas???

well the bar i have doesnt rub it any and it has pleanty of clearence from the cup now that i cut it a bit, i wonder, can this bar be put in the rear???

Doubt it. The rear is about 2-1/2" wider between the strut towers, and there's only two bolts back there.

why didn't you just put some washers on the studs it bolts to. This would have raised the bar up evenly. Probably one fat washer would have done the trick. Maybe two. Then you wouldn't have had to cut anything and there is pleanty of threads to ensure stability still. That would have been my suggestion... sorry its to late.
