a lot of cars have a "smoke" when they start up and when its cold u can really see it. but once they warm up u dont see it anymore, if its that type i think its normal

the smoking isn't normal if its bluish. Could be a number of things, coolant, oil, i'm not an expert but its not normal, take it to dealer.

Blue smoke is usually oil burning through the engine. No way should an engine be doing that after only 14k. Even if you've done no maintenance at all, I can't imagine it going bad that soon.

yeah bring it back.. looks like your seals or rings are shot or something. put in fresh oil first though and see what happens. if the problem remains bring it back and tell them to start their own cars and see if its 'normal' for blue smoke to pour out. :P

smoke from cold start is normal, but only a small amount and for maybe 1 second.

And the lemon law is for "safety" items only, at least last time I checked. Unless you could prove a safety risk from this smoke, you might not get it under that. But it should definitely be under the emissions warranty.

thanx, went to the dealer today, they gave me more bull, and they actually wrecked my car when they took it for a test drive, so time to get a lawyer, and a new car. unbelievable
