i have already posted on this topic before but now it is starting again. my steering system is making a hissing noise coming from near firewall. when im not moving the steering wheel it hisses, when i move the wheel the noise stops. now, this noise got real quiet a few months back so i didnt worry. it started to hiss again when i was pulling in the garage and had the wheels cut all the way to the right. the best i can describe is it sounds like a mix between darth vader breathing and a cd spinning. to me it sounds like rushing fluid like a leak or something, but its not leaking the level stays full. the car has been to 3 garages and no one knows wats wrong. its out of warrenty also. can sum1 plz help me cause the noise is pretty scary. oh, i have a 2003 lancer es 5spd.
