do the headers come with an sensor fitting that can be welded into place for the o2 sensors, or is that something we have to source ourselves. i know you said something about the cat converter coming with the bung (just not welded on).
if we were to stay with the stock cat, then we would have to hack into our exhaust piping for the bung, right?
or perhaps if we placed the 1st sensor on one of the runner pipes (around the same place as the stock location) then used either 1) resistor fix 2) mechanical fix (spark plug defoulers) or 3) turned the cat around so the sensor is toward the back that would eliminate the CEL

Basically you can do all thre options - for those who have our headers and want some bungs if you send me an email with your address details and Vision Imports invoice number I will be happy to post out some O2 bungs for you to weld on.
But personally I would recomedn the option of not using a resistor fix but doing it properly with one O2 sensor before the cat (Whether that be in teh front pipes or just before the cat converter) and the 2nd o2 sensor after teh cat converter which yes you could turn your cat aroudn 180 degrees to reverse its position that woudl work fine.

Mitsiman,
After having been through this myself with the first prototype 2.0 headers, I had the O2 nut Vision supplied welded into the header at the same approximate position to the 1.8L models. My cell has not come on once and that is after nearly 2 yrs of use. Hopefully I will be able to take a picture with my pen cam and post it so you can see the position for yourself if this would help.

Thanks for the input I'll jump on it on the weekend when this snowstorm finish. I'll post my results. My brother was telling me to cut the factory bung out then weld it in the header. We Puertorican like doing wierd invention on our cars.

yup, that should do it. and if you some reason you can't flip the cat backwards (you'll have to extend wires i believe) then just use the spark plug defouler method. search for it on the lancer boards, someone just threw it up a week ago (02 sensor fix)
Words cannot begin to describe how pissed I am right now. I just spent the last two hours taking off my stock equipment and working the new header into place only to find out the bolts do not line up with the engine!!! First thing Monday morning (since they aren't open on the weekends) Vision Imports will be hearing from me. Now I have to take another two hours to put all this crap back on so I have a car to drive to work on Monday!!!
What's wrong with this picture?

Yes, that is the gasket on top of the RPW header. Note how well the holes in the gasket (and, consequently, the bolts) line up with the holes in the flange.

the gasket only goes one way, the header only goes one way, and right now, either vision or rpw screwed him over royaly (doesn't matter if it was an accident, this stuff shouldn't happen)
hopefully we can get word from rpw, cause i would like these extractors once i get the money, but waiting for them to get to vision, then have them arrive at your house dinged and not even the right one, i just don't know

I believe in giving a fair chance at redemption so I'll see what transpires on Monday. I took the header to my local speed shop and showed it to them and they think it's another make/model of car i.e. maybe I just got sent the wrong one.
