Fuel rails we have not bothered with on the 4cyl models cause to all honestly, the fitment of our FPR units recitfys any issues we have with fuel supply and acheives the same goals.

WE only do modified fuel rails for teh V6 model vehicles converting them from a single in and out to a duel in / out setup for equal fuel distribution.

Can you please post a picture of the best location for the o2 sensor bung that does not interupt exhaust flow and does not make the CEL come on.

A lot of people on these forums say that the best place is near the stock location on only one of the pipes. Vision Imports say that tapping into one of those pipes disrupts exhaust flow and that the best spot is next to the flexpipe on the lower piece of the kit...

help!

Ultimatly the best flowing position is on teh flex pipe without a doubt.

But the best position for a CEL light to be non active - on the front of the single pipe seems to be the key position.

So to add to your problem - the answer is its your choice the flex pipe may not activate a cel light.

Has anyone put the o2 sensor on or next to the flex pipe?

Did your CEL come on or not?

i wouldn't get too hung up on the cel light, cause we have 2 easy solutions if it does

from what i've heard, its almost 100% guaranteed if you put the o2 sensor on the single pipe, no cel. on or next to the flex pipe, i'm not sure.....so...........

if your cel does come on, you can either flip your stock cat around, so the 2nd sensor is after the cat convertor, so its reading a different single, and voila! no cel

or do the mech. o2 fix using spark plug defoulers. that seems to do the trick and its cheap and easy.

Very simple. Remove stock cat - then reinstall it backwards (the part that was at the front now facing the rear). You lengthen the O2 sensor wires by 15" to accomodate.

lol, ok, i'll take it slow:

your cat looks like this from back to front: flange, main body, o2 sensor, flange.

you just flip it around so from back to front it goes: flange, o2 sensor, main body, flange.

this way, the 2nd o2 sensor is after the cat converter, so it reads a difference in the air compared to the first o2 sensors reading, ergo no cel

yeah, i think you might be SOL on that one, but like dave said, a fpr should solve that problem

Its closer to $490.00 shipped now due to fluctuations in exchange rates but we will still honour that price.
