Camber plates for the US lancer

Working closley with Tein we are now able to offer the very popular upper pillowball mounts. these are manufactured In japan by Tein for ILP.

our first shipment wiull be arriving shortly. I have adapters for both 12mm and 14mm threaded suspensions.

$160 a pair for the front.
$180 a pair for the rear.

pillow ball (spherical bearing) upper mount is designed for each individual model of the vehicle. By remaining the positioning design of upper spring and shock absorber close to manufacture's standards, pillow ball upper mount keeps height change to the minimum and maintains the stroke center.

The rubber bush is replaced with a pillow ball which eliminates the load input compliance, reduces the change of alignment to improve the grip of the tire.

*NMB's (The world's top spherical bearing manufacture) pillow ball is used.

Ultra duralumin A2017S-T4 (aircraft material) is used for upper seats and adjusting plates with anodized aluminum to have maximum strength and durability.

For the Mcpherson strut suspension(only for front) models, the camber angle is adjustable. This creates wide varieties of different suspension settings according to the road and tire conditions.

High tension material S45C is used for serration bolts. As it is already inserted with high press, installation time has been completely reduced. With the original long bolt design, it can be easily mounted and gives enough thread for the strut tower bar to be fitted.

So these will fit on our lancer?? Will they be compatible with both ES and OZ??? What are the benefits and will they work with struts other than Tein?

And I do believe they are CAMBER plates right?? What little I know about camber plates is that they correct camber after lowering your car, plus add some adjustability to your suspension....What else do they do???

Yes, yes and yes. I'm pretty sure that's about it.

EDIT: Dunno bout the ES thing, but I can't see why not. If the coilover fits then the pillowball mounts should too.

since the chassis is the same the top mounts should be shared amongst them.

camber plates allow quick changes from street to race and back in addition to stifining up the ride and reducing suspension compliance allowing the suspension to work better. you don't even have to jack the car up to get whatever camber is desired.

all in all they are an excellent cost effective modification espically for the weekend autocrosser.

some users find by rotating the plates or switching sides they can get the desired caster adjustment in addition to the camber.

I know it has been a while since I posted info on these Tein of Japan originally sent me the wrong ones, and that was followed by my week working vacation to florida. well I got back today and the units were sitting on my desk. I sized them up on the lancer we have here and everything is 100% I'll keep everybody in the loop
