Have we ever steered you wrong, how many times have you come down to road race... We wouldn't sell these springs if they would kill your shocks, however your responsible for going over speed bumps and railroad tracks slowly, cuz those are wat will kill your shock, and the drop is about 1.5 front and 1.3 rear, and if you want a picture of them go to roadracemotorsports.com and look under lancer suspension, and the scroll down to the RRM Sway Bar... there is a pic of them installed

It might. Depends on the offset wheel you have. Regardless, they are the least lowering spring available so I think you are forced down that road or EIbach PRokits.

you all can go under my profile and look at my car with the pics with these springs, I dunno about yall but the springs they sold me dropped it alot more then 1.5. But like i said see for yourself, but the 17's still don't rub much.

Installed mine last Mon., very surprised at how nice the car still rides, you can feel a stiffer ride, but at the same time it's surprisingly smooth. I'm having a bit of tire rubbing issues in the front but that's because I'm running 215/45/17's which are .4" taller than my stock 195/60/15's. I plan on getting 215/40/17's soon which are .4" shorter than my stock tire which will be about 1" shorter than the tires I'm running now. That should clear up most of the rubbing issues. The install was a piece of cake! Took me just under 3 hours to complete the install, about 2 hours for the rears and about 1 hour for the fronts. I would recommend the springs for anyone not wanting a big drop in suspension. Most definitly worth the $150!

Yea, That tire is too big. Told you the ride would be fine though. Cool.

I know this is a stupid question, but do the TEIN basic dampner kit and Progress springs basically do the same thing?

Not really, the tein replaces the spring and shock/strut where as the progress springs simply replace the springs (obviously).

So in other words, getting the Progress springs would be redundant if you plan on getting the Tein dampners.

If your going to get the tein dampers (super street or basic) you'd be replacing the progress springs so yeah it'd be a waste of money. It all depends on how soon your going to get the teins, and whether having a lower and stiffer ride now is worth the money.

Certainly the most expensive suspension upgrade, but along with the anti-sway bar it should give the ES the best suspension possible. Along with front and rear strut bars and lower tie bar.

If you want the best suspension, it be better to go with the super streets or the JIC systems.
