Koni struts in final stage of development

ILP has finalized the engineering and design stages on the Koni sport damper kit for the 2002/2003 FWD US lancer. these will be optimised for lowered spring sets and stronger/more flexable then the factory units. with underhood adjustment.

Price will be in the $600 range depending on how many units I have built. I intend on keeping the price reasonable.

this post is to gauge Honest intrest in these units. plese DO NOT post if you are not seriously intrested and in the market for these dampers. I will use this post to determine the final quantity and therefore the final price I will have koni make for us.

Thanks
Jeff@ilp

I am very serious about finding a reasonably priced way to drop my car.. So this set that you're making needs the springs after right?? its not a package ?

This kit is mainly targeted at those allready in posession of lowering/performance springs but underwhelmed by the stock damper performance or even the other options out there.

there are No options currently availble that I would reccomend for the lancer. not only will the be the first properly fitting adjustable struts on the market. Koni is pretty much considered the best replacement dampers money can buy.

How many ways adjustable these things going to be? If they are pretty good, I might consider ending my wait for AGX struts fro the Lancer and just buy Konis....

Cool, IPL, that'd be nice, I have money and I am intersted. but before I make you put me down on the list, could you provide some similarities and differences between this and TEIN suspension? Thanks...

I'm in for sure, I plan to start autoxing soon and could use some better performing suspension parts. I'm definitely serious and will take the first crack at testing them
