we were close to achieving carb legal status w/ our turbo kti, den we failed one test, and they wouldn't let us just redo the one test, and instead they wanted to charge a crap load of money for doing the whole carb test over again

Cold start is difficult to fix cause turbo acts like a heat sink and will not warm up first cat fast enough. Only way to fix it is to Cheat. I did not want to do that on carb test. So we have what we have. No Lancer kits are carb. Ours actually passes in some some states though.

yeah that damn cold start, we were golden on everything else, fricken mitsubishi and putting a cat in the header.
oh well, live and learn. I know RRM invested heavily into that test and took a big hit on it in the attempt to please everyone.

when i saw thw option 0 i was like "What a relief!" i like the option 0, seeing as i am making up the phantom to give away..... seriously tho, i found Mitsu engine at the con expo lasvegas this last weekend. they gave me the name of the company that can get me mitsu turbos, since we are a dealer, i found i can get any turbo from mitsu at cheap *** prices. like a td-04HL $300. no piping and brand new. Even with that said i am still gonna pay you guys to do my rrm turbo. i would like the t25, i feel it would be less harmful than the t28. gut feeling not fact just a gut feeling. besides i don't wanna beat an evo now, i just want some more strength under the hood.
