Koni apparently could not reproduce a production shock to the dimensions and specifications provided by ILP. Not to mention how long it took for them to send the first set.

Correct....HK....I think they just didn't feel like putting any effort into them and thought they would be the same as the ones used on another vehicle (which they aren't). Anyhow, ILP put a lot of work into this and it sux to see a big company like Koni make no effort....at least we know ILP is all good!!!

Believe me, I saw the prototype fronts before Jeff had figured out the correct size for the rears. Just especially sucks for you and any other preorders especially.

I mean you could tell they were prepro, but they looked good. Not to mention the Konis dont' adjust dampening by clicks, they adjust by turns. Kinda neat for precision, but kinda a PITA cuz getting them even becomes that much more difficult.

can anyone find out if they are going for the other companies or would they just work it out with konis because right now I'm in need of new shocks and yeah that ish suxks that a reputable company like koni would not put any effort in there work that tells you something about there workers up there and maybe this would be a chance to complain to there ceo or bosses. I hope they would take actions from this job they did.

I'm sory but we have done several custom applications with koni directly and most of which were very pleasent experences. this however is a extreme let down. from this point forward I will no longer have koni produce custom struts and I will go to one of the smaller names for custom dampers.

let me look and see what comes availble.

thanks
