It did for me. I got the set for the evo like a week before these were announced, damn I wish I had waited.

depends. my greddy evo1 catback with the hangers still touch cause its so heavy, so heres a trick: pick up som heater hose, cut it into a 4 inch tube, then slit it length wise. wrap this around the sway bar where the exhaust would hit it, and zip tie it in place. bam, problem fixed

thats cool, thats why people pick up the evo2 catback cause it doesn't cause melting (long tip and i believe they moved it further away)

but i have the evo1 catback and have seen other people's scorced bumpers as proof

but no worries, i got a bumper shield, so i'm protected

I have the Greddy Evo 2 Cat-back and it destroyed my rear lip as well. I just got these hangers installed today and they are amazing. I recommend them for anyone with an aftermarket cat-back. They are so much more stiff and stronger than the stock components. However, my exhaust is still melting my lip because the hangers moved the exhaust tip up more where it should have originally been, but these hangers have stopped my exhaust from swinging around. Shipping was fast and the quality is amazing!

OHH MY GOD. That is all I have to say about these little things. I love the change and would suggest these for anyone with aftermarket exhaust for sure! THANKS TOM!

since theses hangers hold the whole exhaust up tighter, if you have kamikaze headers, you might want to try to find a solution to keep the dp from rattling on the frame. still a great buy though!

They slide right on and they are made of a stiffer, stronger material so everyone with an aftermarket exhaust or sway bar can benefit from this.

I have an evo2 but there is slight melting. This is due to the shift of my downpipe because of my setup.

Well I ordered them already and since he's in CA I honesty doubt I'll even get them before saturday.

Can these hangers be changed by yourself like using a jack and stands?
