Yes they can be changed by a jack and stands... i just did it. It's really not that hard at all. You'll be glad you got them.

I just ordered this, I have the Greddy evo2 catback and I hate going over speedbumps or little dips because the exhaust tip bounces around and hits my bumper making knocking noises. So annoying, it sounds like this will fix it though.

 

I wish I had gotten super lucky...exhaust shop was so busy on sunday I gotta wait another week.

Ummm, Is it only the OZ's that are having the melted bumper problem or is it ES and OZ because i have an ES and i am gunna order these hangers even thought i dont have the exaust yet i plan to get it after i save up i would just rather have them when i put the exaust in then want them later... So even with the Hangers on a 2002 Lancer Es will the Greddy Evo 2 ( Version 2 ) Exaust Still Melt the bumper?

I have an 02 es and the greddy exhaust. My bumper didn't have any melting problems but it the tip did bump against the bumper going around corners or going over speedbumps and that made annoying knocking noises.. I thought it was worth $40+shipping to get rid of the noise.

Just put some of those hangers on my lancer for my magnaflow. For anyone who is interested, here is what they look like.



You can bend the stock hangers in half, because they are just natural rubber, but these things are SOLID. Trying to bend these in half is like trying to bend a skateboard wheel in half. They have very little give to them, which makes it a tat difficult to put on, but just a little bit of muscle and WD40, they'll slide in eventually.
