I agree that the $360 is a bit much to send ours back to you. but If I can come up with the cash I'll go for it.

I don't see how it's any different than the others that have been sold for the past few years. Price hasn't changed and those have been widely purchased.

It's all about your mods... if you're at the point where you are running out of things or want to get things done in a most difficult to least difficult order, you'll figure out a way for sure.

By the time i was done i put about 16k into my lancer and that's not including buying it new for 16,500 ... at times i can't believe where all that cash came from.

Modifying the interior... someone said that I'd have to move fuel rails and something else. I lost the thread that said that but I remember something to that nature. Something about, "it doesn't resemble the stock intake manifold." Eh, Im a tuner at heart so Im willing to work with anything and everything.

Thanks for the explaination on the core swap. Didn't know what exactly a "Core Swap" meant, but its clear as day now.

Will the intake manifold grant any gain with the stock throttle body? Dumb question, I know. Physics state that only the amount of air coming in can be pushed out through any given amount of space but hmmm... I could be wrong?

I think I already explained core swap earlier in the thread. If you have questions call us though.

No no, I said that the explaination was perfect. This is what I got from the explaination... You guys send us your intake manifold after a "core charge" and price of the intake manifold... we unmount ours and replace it with yours. Send our manifold to you (The Core) and you guys refund the core charge if applicable.

Anyways, my question moved more along the lines of, "am I going to need to move fuel rails or anything?" I read the explaination a bit more and realized that its the same intake manifold, but ported for airflow? Thats what Im thinking anyways.

Gotta love us newbies and our newbie questions... gives you guys something to laugh about as you break from your day of hard work, and read something as simple as "Hmmm... so the intake manifold is where the air comes in through?" :P

there is no need for relocating any stock item... these are ported stock manifolds.

I think what was said was about using the G-93 on the 04-05's. That is harder as the 04-05 manifold is way different than the 02-03. Injectors are different/fuel rail/EGR etc. You'll rather go with the ported stocker than try that conversion.

Agreed, Thanks Boe... (ROB?). Yeah, though. Im trying to test the limit of the Lancer ES so finding this stuff out from guys like you who are devoting yourselves to us, is a blessin. Plus, you're doing all the expensive/hard work for me :P. Thanks again, RRM.
