Sweet setup. Do the ball ends snap into the sockets? How do they hold in there? Thanks.

There's holding pins that hold them in place. When you get a set in your hands, it makes perfect sense.

No problem. I don't have this brand, but I have the same product from Tein and I love them. Really makes it easy, especially when you're working in the area where the hood prop normally sits.

yea, Tein has them for a really short list of vehicles. The EVo or Lancer haven't even made it on there yet...lol Subes' got'em. They're pretty pricey too...

But hey, they do what they gotta do> Making it easy to be (work) under the hood.

i heard with using these with a CF hood when u close the hood you tend to put alot of presure on the hood and could crack the CF hood. Have you heard of this problem?

I was wondering if they would have any problems holding up a fiberglass hood?

hmm.. that's a pretty dumb question.

Obviously, if they can hold up a Stock Hood... A CF or FG hood shoudn't be a problem.

not a dumb question...b/c when you close the hood with the hood dampers you have to put more force to close it...esp with a a CF or Fiberglass hood you cant just slam it down.....

when u are closing it and using the force to close it would put pressure on the hood and could crack it....

so how is this a dumb question ?????????
