When I talked to VIS on Thursday, I asked them if they have 10 hoods in stock. They said yes, more EVO than OEM. But he assured me they have stock. So, lets hope he is on the level.

 

Have you confirmed shipping costs? I'm really interested in an OEM. I just need to know when you'd be billing and what the total cost would be (if you can't get precise just estimate high).

 

If you don't want to wait for more of a discount, I can order the hood sooner. The OEM hood is $410 w/o grill. As I said shipping on the high side will be $125. So the total would be $535.00. If you want to wait, the price may come down to around $360 plus shipping.

I'll see what I can come up on the shipping front today or tomorrow.

 

could we save loot if you shipped two together cause i live pretty colse to andrew their about 20 mins and i wouldn't mind picking one up in jersey for a little cheaper shippn'

 

I will wait to see if prices go cheaper, but I want this hood. Do you think it'll look good if you paint the sides to match your car? just leave the middle CF.

shipping together is a great idea. I know one thing, if you ship to a residential address they charge a higher fee. So if someone has a business address to ship to that will definetly will save shipping costs. When it's time to put in the order I'll just need to know which orders to send where. Keep the orders coming. Almost there

Ok, I've been working on the shipping. I think I've got it worked out to be reasonable now. I think? I will explain. All the prices I will list include, hood price, shipping and the $25 handling charge from VIS. (I mentioned this in the first post)

I have two prices depending on whether it is shipped in multiple units to the same address or a single address. It has to be a Business Address to get these quoted rates. If not, the price goes up a ton.

Multi shipped (3 or more) / single shipments add $15.

EVO w/Grill $575
EVO w/o grill $550

OEM w/Grill $550
OEM w/o Grill $510

Shipping needs to be added the single Unit price. It is around $125 to a Business address.

I wasn't able to get the price of the hoods down too much, but I as able to reduce the shipping cost by about $35-$40 for those who can have multiple shipments. The price for single shippers is about $10 less. Not big victory but a small one.

As it stands I have 6 people interested, with what I have to order for stock, we can proceed within one week. If people still need more time, please let me know a time frame. I would like to order as soon as possible.

BTW, I got a pm from a guy who bought one off ebay and with shipping his was to cost a little over $600. So I think this is a really fair deal. Let me know.
