I recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade their shocks and/or customize ride height for the perfect fender gap, but doesn't want to bother fine tuning dampening rates. These sell for the same price as any decent spring/shock combo will in the future, so you might as well be able to choose your own ride height. And Tein is the suspension that has me showing some STI and GTI drivers how to turn!!! Way to go, Rob! You deliver it first again.

Ok so im alittle confused maybe someone can help. Earlier someone posted that this uses the stock top mount, what is that? When i had my pregress springs put in at a shop in cali they striped a bolt on my tiop mount so i cant take off my strut bar without an impact. Does this mean that I will have to replace the top mount? Anyone know.

Just press a new stud or weld a bolt in place of that stripped top mount bolt. Monday TEIN says we will get 6 sets of Basic Dampners. 4 are sold. So if you want them let up know.

Here's some before and after pics. I have the SS kit, but like Rob said, that's the same kit but you can adjust how stiff the shocks are. The ride height can be adjusted to the same limits. The pictures here show it about half way... it could be higher, and... it can go lower!!!
