ROAD/RACE STAGE 2 Turbo upgrade done!
We dynoed STage 2 on our yellow car. Pressure was on so.
Here it is 235 w.h.p. at 10 psi. This is the same setup we are going to sell.
We also went to the track (Carlsbad Raceway) with this setup and ran 13.3- 1/4 mile on pump gas and sticky street tire. We ran really safe rich fuel maps that we expect to be safe for turbo guys. This is pretty much what we expected for stage 2.
Next week we are turning boost up and gonna go back to do more.
Finally something huh.....
When I get time I will scan dyno sheet and timeslip for you guys. This is just what we had to do to satisfy our turbo guys with Stage 2. I wanted to do more but that is good for now. We only used stuff that is for sale. This setup is for intercooled guys only. email me for details. We are trying hard to make sure Intercooled guys have options to really tap the potential they have in they Lancer and still be safe.

Nice job guys, isthat 13.4 with an lsd?
Also, stage two requires the forged pistons, correct? Is it a detonation issue, a preventitive measure? Or cant the stock pistons take the higher pressures safely.
Keep up the good work.....

We would like guys to have pistons for 10 psi. I honestly think it is not needed cause with the fuel map we have, there was 0 detonation even pulling hills 5th gear etc but I think to be safe we may give lower boost spring to guys with stock pistons. Just one of the details we have not worked out yet.

As for 19 psi, won't happen in either a G93 or 94 on stock internals.
17 psi is so far the max that a G93 stateside w/ standalone + forged stuff was able to tune.
In PR (probably an urban legend since I can never able to verify its existance personally, just word of mouth from the PR community near me), there is a G93 w/ standalone + forged + NOS running about 23-26 psi . . .
To even get that high in PSI as the Evo guys, factory ECU + MAF in either the G93 or 94 can't simply handle it.

We plan on running 15-16 psi in our drag car with the fuel we have. Slowly inching our way up to it. I think it is doable. As for guys on pump gas etc... and stuff we sell, we are very careful.
