Well, in that case I will definelty suggest the 6000k. Last year we put a 6k into a mazda rx7; it was very subtle yet eye catching, also provided ample light. The 8000k would be more for show rather than anything else. These are really good looking toys.

Heres a picture of an 8000k HID Kit. I have one, shoulda went 6000k but oh well. And AMSTuning is right, these pictures hardly do justice for the 8000k. You need oto be there in person. Here they are:

BTW, AMS...... is the kit in its entirety 8000k or is it just the bulb that is 8000k. Cuz I might wanna get a 6000k bulb for less brightness and I was wondering if I had to buy a whole new kit for that. I hope not

No. But then again, in EVERY Hid Kit disclaimer I came across for aftermarket HID kits, wether it be 4300k or 12000k, they all said, quote "These HID Kits are not USA DOT aproved! Recommended for off-road use ONLY!"

Dear Cumshot, ( Sorry just had to say that),

The 8k kit uses a different ballast. The 4 - 6k use premier quality Philips manufactured units; the 8k is a new kit that just arrived to USA and it uses its own ballast. I would not recommend mixing and matching. Your best bet would be to sell the existing kit and go with a conversion kit of the desired temperature that utilizes the philips ballast.

As far as the law goes, your state and even county may have various outlooks on the hid issue. You should not be getting pulled over with an hid kit unless your headlights are improperly aimed (ie. too high). Personally, I have never been harassed for having a kit on any of my cars. Also, once the kit is installed, you can easily switch the bulbs into OEM condition, it is a matter of plugging them in, since you would not have to touch the ballast. Anyways, I am rambling at this point.

Email us at info@amstuning.com or call us directly at 1888-AMS-1788 and we can talk more about the kit or answer questions.

Thank you as always,

If that's the case, you are definetly looking at a 6k or 4k kit.

azhunballa, those look like they're 10000k - 12000k. They're purple and pretty bright. You can get "not so bright" purple colors at 6000k also. It'll just cost a little bit more then 12000K. I advise you, if you are looking for a HID kit, go with it. These guys look like they are offering a good deal.
