^ I think these are still the same as any other kits out there which is single-beam, you probably won't be getting these prices for dual-beam kits. (Only dual-beam size available right now is H4's only except CATZ which has dual-beam kits for most of the bulb sizes...but compare those prices to these, you'll probably just forget about the high beam
You planning on getting HID's for your high beam too?!
well if you've the dough more powa to ya but I can't justify $400 on something you use for 1~2 sec once in a while. And *flashing* your HID's will dramatically shorten its life...
Do you plan on driving with your high beams on? If so better be prepared for cops to pull you over (high-beam + HID = 99% guaranteed)
Do you plan on using these high beams during rainy/fogy days? Just so you know, higher temp lightbeams DO NOT reflect that well in water compared to low temp light beams, yellow-white will assist you the most in rainy days (hence the name 'Fog' lights which are mostly yellow on stock vehicles)
Hella, same as Philips, does not make full HID kits. Yes they do make seperate parts but no they do not sell a complete retrofit kit, due to the legality of aftermarket HID kits, these huge companies simply don't see the point of putting them into more troubles. And don't be silly enough to buy a retrofit kit that uses parts from different manufacturers. Don't be fooled by the name "Hella".
And also FYI, stock HIDs (BMW, MB, Infiniti, Lexus, even our Evo's) are 4100~4300K.
You guys will probably love the 6000K kit the most.
4300K is plain white even tho it's the brightest( higher temp, less lumens, dimmer < lower temp, more lumens, brighter)
but it's gonna be too "normal" for some of you, most people will probably not be able to tell these are HID's until they get in the driver's seat.
8000K is just too much IMO.
If you are worried about getting pulled over, just adjust your beams lower so they don't blind the cars in front of you.
