I've had the Kamikaze header for about 6 months now and the CEL really doesn't annoy me that much. But I should buy the MIL soon. Too bad I'm broke.

what I've been reccomending to everybody lately is get a test pipe and install a nice high flow cat unit in we have some in stock that work great. what we do is install the cat and move the bung for the rear 02 sensor to behind this unit. (also have cats with the bung allready welded in) I have been doing this mod to scoobys and have yet to have the magnaflow cat units trip a CEL and it's legal in all states. actually I've seen a power improvement in some cars over a totally open exhaust.

It takes time for ECU to comapare voltages. Test pipe alone will never set off CEL. Header , like all headers will.

Calling them is your best bet. I've seen how many e-mails they get.

thanks for your paitence. please call our office 610-614-0903 we recieved a bad batch of components (was sent the wrong diode) and the CEL fixes were put on hold as I found why some of them were not working. well alas it was a small error from our supplier and has since been resolved. we are now shipping units that have been proven and utilizing our original design.

thanks for your paitence

and yes originally I confused the rear 02 sensor location test pipes do not trip Check engine lights. hjowever they do afford a wonderful place to install a high flow cat which should keep you legal in some places.

Thanks
