true that my friend . . .
gauges are nice if they are tastfully done . . .

I don't like the giant tachs that people put on their dashs with shift lights, but smaller nicely mounted in the dash gauges are NICE

The DEFI's look fantastic. I love the idea that it's a daisy chain wiring system where one wire goes from the gauge pack "ECU" to one gauge, then you wire your other gauges between themselves. The gauge "ECU" then connects to power, ground, and your temp/boost/pressure sensors..Very nice setup.

Gauges like ISSPRO, VDO, and god knows what else require you almost to build a mini wire harness for the lights, ground, and sensor connection. Plus the DEFI's are very shallow in depth which should make mounting a breeze.

I bought some ISSPRO's a while back for my truck and quite frankly they suck! Crappy little connectors and as I said, time to make wiring harnesses!

I am very tempted to order an oil pressure and oil temperature gauge. I wish they had a nice voltmeter to match...

I am assuming that the Greddy and Blitz oil filter adapters then require us to use a different oil filter from our stock Mitsu part once we install the sandwich adapter. Is this correct? I thought I saw that the Greddy requires a Toyota filter part #?

Is there some kind of a special buy going on for Evo.net on the Defi's? If there was, I'd even be MORE inclined to order. I see the prices of the gauges on Mach V Motorsports, so any discount is a good discount...

I just looked at the BF's. Very nice LED lighting setup for those.

For all forum members, here's a link to the japanese website. Click on products and check out both the BF and the link V2. There's also a couple of macromedia demos of the BF gauges.

I own Defi but Blitz are very nice too the gauges backs are very shallow...so you can basically mount them anywhere. Only thing about 52mm is hard to read especially at night. I had to turn all my gauge to read 12o' clock during normal temps and pressures...That way I can scan the read out by a glance, instead of actually trying to read each gauge What type of gauges are considering to get?? By type I mean Water temp.? Oil pres. ?? etc...

I had a Blitz oil pressure guage on my AE86.

Brings back good memories....
