I went in today to a local Ford dealership to look at the SVT cobra. its nice, though its too aged for my taste. sadly domestic automakers will sell their top tier cars for so much less than sticker, i was talking 26 grand for a 35K sticker. he was like will you buy it today? i politely declined. anywho on my way out, i asked if he's getting any ford GTs (very nice car btw) he said yeah he has 2 on order, 1st one in kc area was from another dealer who sold it for 550,000. what f***ing bs. i was like for what is the sticker he goes 250 grand. i was like hmm. i go well thats definitely not correct, because its 150. he starts arguing with me about how no car over 500 grand can even touch the GT. i was like ok want me to prove it? i run into my car, get the october 2004 issue of motor trend. i showed him the sticker, he starts yelling at me saying its wrong, so i go for 550 grand ide get a carrera GT, an evo, and a nice e55 AMG. he's like ok, well the GT will own them all i go "wow salespeople get stupider and stupider day by day" he just got all red as i left. just thought ide share that with you guys for a good laugh.

eh salespeople are just that...salespeople. They aren't for the most part car enthusiast, and they normally only know what their sales managers tell them. Don't take any crap from them, but don't expect them to know more than the lines they are told to try to push their product.

whats ironic is that when he said no car over 500 grand can touch the GT, i said there are lots, but the carrera gt is 450. he said no way. haha i asked him what brand it was, and he said he hadnt even heard of it. whatever what a fool. i just was like um ok because he said that the carrera GT one of the best cars of all time was crap. what a moron
