that takes a long time to load.. and the first 45 seconds of the 1:12 are a complete waste of space but very impressive truck totally killed that car hardcore even with a head start

That was nice... my old boss had built a lightning with a race block bored to 600cid. 101turbo pushed 1200+whp and 1300+wtq at 14psi non-intercooled. Ran 10.1 on his second run but didn't have a roll cage in the truck so he got booted. He had some financial issues, sold the truck and the new owner dropped the boost to 8psi 900whp and 1000wtq pulled a 9.3 last i heard. That truck was toooo much. All you heard at the line was the turbo... couldn't hear any motor noise just the whistle of the air intake.

When you put about 100k into a truck you get a sick as truck and an empty wallet. Wish i had half that cash to put into my ride...

It doesn't take that much money to make trucks fast... well deisel trucks anyway. Because ford and dodge overbuilt their engines so much many of those trucks can take 40 psi so just by slapping on a huge turbo and huge intjectors along with opening the exhaust up you can hit huge power numbers with less than 5 grand into the truck and because they were overbuilt so much you don't have to worry about the engine getting messed up even when pushing 1000 lb of torque on your tranny or 600+ hp through the engine.

now making gas engine trucks faster takes more money
