I'm in full-on EVO mode again!!!!
man, I'm just dying for another EVO again now that I've seen a couple of '05's out there. If I can get out of my SRT-4 I think I'm gonna shoot for the EVO if I can score one for around $28k. I don't care if I get an '04 or an '05 honestly as long as it's new. There's some good used deals out there but I don't buy used sports cars and especially not an EVO with the clutch issues and all from kids doing launches.
What got me in the mood again is the "Best Motoring" vid that I just got where the EVO hangs right with a new AWD Porsche 996 Turbo and a modded Skyline R34. Over the past few months I've really had a jones for a 350Z and an MR2 Spyder but I always come back to the EVO because it's SO good in stock form and has so much potential for reliable performance mods if I ever chose to do that.
The other thing for me is that the EVO has so much headroom. I'm 6'7" tall and the EVO has 40" of headroom so I can literally sit straight up in that car and my hair barely touches the roof.....that's unheard of for me. In my SRT-4 I drive with my head slightly cocked in a pseudo ghetto-lean because of the lack of headroom. I get mad backaches in that car if I ride more than 2 hours too. I fit perfect in an EVO and the cockpit is much more open similar to my Mazdaspeed so that room helps a great deal.
So, I'm gonna list my SRT-4 for $18,400 (what I owe) and see who bites. It's got low miles and is flawless and always garaged so I figure I should be able to get that. If you're interested I'll have a listing over in the "for sale" section. EVO here I come!!!!!

sorry I don't. As far as I know the only way to get them is to buy the DVD. They have them at Best Buy so that's where I hook up. $17.99 isn't too bad.....they're worth it !!!! I must've watched this latest one like 5 times already
This won't help you then. Yes, this is the one with the borked t-case.

man that's so frickin' sweet!!!!! Are those MR's running for about $35k??? I'm hoping to score either an '04 or an '05 for around $28k....can that still be done???
Mine was $501.50 under sticker (which was shown). Plus taxes and fees, it was like barely almost $37K out the door.
As for an '05 for $28K, depends on the dealer, but right now I'd say it won't happen often until springtime.
