Just wondering, i know awd saps power......how much power would an evo need to compete with a bpu 03+ cobra? is it even possible?

 

Its not hard. A Vishnu Stage 1 could, and has done it. A lot of others have also.

 

Stock I can eat them up. My friend has a really fast one. I hope to beat him after my 264's and custom dynoflash are done.

 

i lost 40 dollars to a guy in town with a cobra. though he had a upgraded supercharger and about 7000 in performance parts and suspension. btw, he rans 10.7's on MT's.

 

The track I run at has very few Cobras getting in then 12s. Most run mid 13s and I can only think of one or two running 12s. It doesn't take much to get the EVO there. Exhaust, engine management and some sort of boost controller should get the EVO in the high 12s. Of course, with about $1500 and some slicks, that Cobra will run low 12s to high 11s.

 

stock can beat them but not by alot thats wat i read and heard

 

ive raced 2, one from a stop and i launched like 4 cars on him and from a roll i got beat and ive got 3 in dp and cat delete. those things are fast, 390 hp i think. id love to eat one up on the road course though.

 

After looking at your sig I notice we are very close in mods. My cams go in soon and then it's custom tune day Nov 13th. I was wondering how much power your making?

 

It's easy to beat them. You don't need any extra horsepower over stock levels. All you have to do is turn the steering wheel every now and then.

300-325 whp is what you need to beat in th 1/4

350+whp on a roll

This of course is in a stock 03+ cobra
