The effort that they put into it is amazing, that alone impresses me.. But I agree, there's no point in taking one (Very sexy appearing car) and making it into something its not.

THey really should have spent the time doing a widebody interpretation of the NSX sheetmetal instead.

I do like the "Foam sculpting" technique, I wish I could find foam like that here so I can finally sculpt and mold the components I've sketched out a few years ago..

Jesus, you guys need to get over this whole 'rice' thing that you are pressed on. The guy already has an NSX which is more than double the price of an Evo. Then these guys do completely amazing work that makes it look like a $500,000 car. What is rice about that now? You are putting that in the same catagory as taking a $17k lancer and making it look kinda like a $30k Evo with $2000 bucks in a body kit. The work they did would probably cost over 50 grand. It is def. art, not rice.

BTW, how many kit cars are out there that are built to look exactly like the old shelby cobra, or kit ferraris and lamborghinis? Are those rice too?

sentinal, why you always bash on the OZ guys? an Evo is a Lancer. Its just a beefed up, prettied up lancer. So technically taking an OZ and making it look like an Evo is just making it look like a higher model Lancer. Nothing else. Man quit bashing people for what they like, if you have a problem with people making their cars look like Evos, then buy everybody an evo. The NSX to Ferrari Conversion is awesome. That took an amazing amount of effort and time and came out looking great. You can't knock on someone's workmanship for that by saying they are "rice".. get over it man, people do what they find appealing and nobody can stop them, if you can't recognize hard work and dedication when you see it then just don't say anything, move into the next thread..

So because they paid even more money and spent more time on it than the OZ to Evo conversions, it's automatically not rice? Sure, the term "rice" is becoming a cliche, but the point is still valid.

I do admire the skill and effort it, but I still think it's silly. And yes, I think making a base or Ralliart Lancer look like an Evolution is silly as well. I like my Ralliart as is, and see no reason to make it look like an Evolution. Heck, for that matter I think it looks better than an Evolution I doubt anyone buying an Evolution is concerned with good looks, nor would I be if I were, but since we're talking about looks anyways I figured I should bring that up.

Its the same thing, you make an $80,000 car look like a $500,000 car, it's all the same. RICE! He even has the ferrari badges lol. I love NSX's and I love Ferreri's, but they both look great the way they are stock.
