Id take a new M3 over the Evo if its ganna be a daily driver only reason to get the MR would be if your ganna be at the track all the time or driving in bad weather a lot.

Wait for the new M3/M4 - why buy an old car? Otherwise - buy a used M3 and Evo.

I don't know in your neck of the woods but here in Dallas/Fort Worth, all but one are horrible.

The new M3 is nice, but its too heavy for the track. It doesn't handle as well as an Evo, and the engine in the E46 M3 is already maxxed out. It just depends on what you want I guess.

slightlyshady1, the new M3 will NOT have a V8 unfortunately. Click this link for more information http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=47751

Unless you own an E46 M3 with an '01 build date. Remember the S54 detonation fiasco?

isn't there about a $20k price difference? This is like comparing EVO's to Civics or something.....not in the same league or price range.
