Just got it home tonight. I could not pick it up last night due to the snow and the dumb a** service prep guy put amorall not only on the bran new dash but as well as the door panel, the steering wheel and the arm rest. I was so pissed that I told them I want this guy fired or I will not buy the guy and in addition, they now had to re detailed the car and strip away any hint of amorall.

Excuse the picture, it was taken with my cell phone camera and we all know how crapy they can be.

This is going to be my daily driver when it does not snow, in the spring and in the summer. The MR will be my weekend racer and will only drive it when it snows since I just installed some all season tires on it.

 

man as much as I love that car I dunno how you could use it as a daily driver, can't fit crap in there! But otherwise, big

I do not carry anything in the s2k, just my cell phone and things that I can just fit in the center console. I love the focusness of the s2k.

 

rio pearl yello they call it. It is a metallic yellow and looks much much nicer in person.

 

if you put that all over everything like arm rest, door panels and steering wheel its like grabbing a wet bar of soap yoru hands just slide.. ( until it wears off ), also if yoru arms on the door and you hit a bump your arm slides off. its just ANNOYING

I decided to sell my silverstone 04 s2k and picked up the 05. I've also decided not to get the RS since I do want to keep an s2k. So it boils down like this,

MR <-- weekend racer
05 s2k <--- daily beater
04 s2k <---- I will listed on ebay or donate it to charity.

 

Since it is my second one from the same dealership, I got for 30k flat.

 

Wow, for brand new s2k!!! Or is it a used one?

well it had 11 miles on the odometer, so I think I will consider it to be new. It is an 05 with the headrest speakers installed.


Oh and get this, they installed the titanium shifter knob in it because they could not find the original and it is nice and light but I still b*tch and said that I wanted the factory one because I like it better <--BS. SO now I got a nice titanium knob that cost 150 bucks in the whole deal plus they ordered me the original shift knob.
