I found this at Motortrend, anyone know about that "Diamond Star Logo" thing?

"2004 Mitsubishi Galant: Developed and styled in America, the Galant will again strive to conquest sales from Accord and Camry. The "Mitsubishi" brand name will be absent from the Galant, and all future vehicles, leaving the Diamond Star logo to represent the brand. On sale in fall 2003."

 

I think it just means that the word 'Mitsubishi' wont appear on the Galant. Just their logo, the diamond star.

That rocks... cars today have way too much plastic/chrome cladding that us uber ugly. I dig the fact that the Evo doesn't have the big letters on the trunk that the previous versions had - now I don't have to take them off.

 

Yea true...good point. But I'd rather have that Evolution lettering on the trunk like on the Evo VII.
