@ 2001 Frankfurt International Motor Show
Mitsubishi
Motorsport will provide the central theme at Mitsubishi's stand. Exhibits include a pre-production version of the new Lancer Evolution World Rally Car, due to make its rally debut in October at San Remo. There will also be the European production version of the new Lancer Evolution VII RS II, due on sale early next year.
Another prototype will be the new Pajero/Shogun Evolution concept, a future Paris-Dakar rally contender.
New 2002 model year production models will include the latest Carisma, Space Star and Galant. The latest versions of the Pajero/Shogun family of sport-utilities will be on display, as will a revised L200 Double Cab.
Mitsubishi will also show GDI-ISA, the latest development in GDI engine technology. GDI-ISA combines gasoline direct injection with a hybrid electrical vehicle system. An integrated electric motor offers idling stop-start and brake energy recovery, and Mitsubishi says it hopes to have GDI-ISA engines in its range soon.

See the link below for more info on the Euro Evo VII. It looks like the suspension will be tuned differently, there will be different lights, and a few other minor changes. I'm still interested in hearing what the official power output will be.
