Bah!! Can't find the FREEKIN battery

ok, my wife and I have had our 2002 325 for 2 years now.
I've never needed to find the battery, but I want to locate it now.
I've searched the WHOLE freeking car and I can't find it.
Does anybody out there know where the battery is located on a
2002 BMW 325 AWD.

I swear I can't find the damn thing.. sounds silly but it's driving me freeking nuts!

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks for any input!

It's for weight distribution my friend. BMW's are some of the most highly researched and designed cars...there is a reason it's back there. Unlike the original Dodge Stratus, Chrysler Cirrus, or Plymouth Breeze where the battery was IN the fenderwell infront of the tire...they just didn't have room on those cars! LOL
